Job summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a well motivated, kind and caring individual to join a well established, nationally recognised Same Day Emergency Care clinic. RACE Clinic is an SDEC clinic which supports older patients to be assessed, diagnosed and managed/discharged the same day without the need for a lengthy hospital admission. Referrals are taken from the emergency department and community services including GPs so older patients present with a variety of clinical medical conditions. We are looking for a dedicated band 3 nurse to join our team, to support patients through this process through direct caregiving and to convey patients to diagnostics throughout the hospital. The clinic is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner led service so the successful candidate will report directly to the ACP team. There are two posts available - 1 x 37.5 hrs per week and 1 x 34 hrs per week Base Location: Poole Hospital Interview Date: TBC

- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Completion of a competency-based workbook or equivalent relevant experience to vocational level 3

- An understanding around basic patient care
