Job summary

The Head and Neck Directorate are looking to appoint a new Service Manager for Ear, Nose and Throat service and Oral Maxillofacial Service. You will join a supportive and experienced operational team at an exciting time of change. The role will be split over two sites with opportunities to integrate with a well established multi disciplinary team.

Base Location: Poole and Bournemouth

Interview Date: TBC

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will be positive , organised and have an inquisitive, curious nature. The role will involve being adaptable and approachable, building key working relationships and driving the flow of the services.

You will have budgetary and operational responsibility for your services and be accountable to the Head and Neck leadership team.

The post holder will work as a keymember of services leadership teams working with clinicalcolleagues to develop and deliver high quality care for patients.Part of your role will be to provide support to the Risk andGovernance Lead to embed the quality governance agenda withinthe Directorate. The post holder will promote a proactive approachto involvement in all aspects of governance.You are also a Senior Manager within the Head and NeckDirectorate Management Team and as such will work to meet theobjectives of both the Directorate and Care Group while supportingthe Trusts overall vision, values and strategy.
