Job summary
The Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
You must hold a recognised trade apprenticeship and a minimum qualification of BTEC, ONC, HNC or similar certificate or equivalent qualification/experience and previous electro-mechanical maintenance experience would be advantageous as would being conversant with Health & Safety issues.
You must hold a current UK (manual) driving licence and reside within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties.
The role is Monday - Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota.
Base Location: Poole Hospital

- ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline or Equivalent Or City & Guilds Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Pts 1, 2 & 3 or Equivalent.
- IOSH Health & Safety management certification
Desirable
- Pressure Systems, Ventilation, Safe Water etc.
Experience
Essential
- Experience in an Estates/Engineering environment.
- In depth knowledge of complex building services plus hands on capabilities.
- Completed a structured apprenticeship/structured training.
- Experience of Planned Maintenance CAFM systems.
- Worked in and delivered in a KPI driven environment.
Desirable
- Health service experience
- 2 years Supervisory experience.
