Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity in our fantastic Operational Finance team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Trust (UHD).

As a Band 7 Deputy Finance Business Partner supporting the Associate Director of Finance, Surgical Care Group portfolio, you will help lead a team under the direction of the Finance Business Partner.

The role will support delivery of sound financial management and support to a wide range of services including the provision of expert financial support to a number of exciting change projects associated with the New Hospital Program reconfiguration of services.

The Surgical Care Group portfolio is both diverse and dynamic and we are looking for a candidate who is keen to develop a career in NHS finance. The successful candidate will be working as part of a committed team and should be able to demonstrate the desire to work in NHS Finance, the ability to work in a team and to deadlines, prioritising workload and able to communicate well to non-finance colleagues.

You will be either a CCAB qualified accountant or finalist studying towards qualification.

Base Location: Poole Hospital a, but some cross-site working as required. Hybrid remote working as agreed with the Finance Business Partner.
