Nursery Nurse - Neonatal Unit

Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a trained nursery nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Unit at Poole Hospital. We are a level 2 unit caring for sick term babies and those born after 27 weeks gestation. The unit includes 4 Intensive Care cots, 6 high dependency cots and 10 special care cots.

You will be joining a large team of nursery nurses.

You will work predominantly in the special care nursery focusing on the care of the babies, parentcraft and hearing screening.

Poole is an historic town with plenty of places to eat. We are close to the Jurassic coast, the New Forest, the historic town of Christchurch and the vibrant night life in Bournemouth.

This role requires a Recognised Nursery Nurse Qualification

Base Location: Poole Hospital

There is a planned move for this service during Spring 2025, when this role and base of work will relocate to Bournemouth site. Upon relocation of the role/service, excess mileage allowance / reimbursement will not apply, and any travel between the postholder's home and work base will be classified as a commute. Any other changes unrelated to this, will be handled in line with Trust/National terms and conditions
