An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our Quality and Risk Team at UHD. We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Audit Facilitator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be a resilient team player, able to build strong relationships with a range of staff groups and be confident to work autonomously as required.
The post holder will work as an integral member of the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Team, facilitating a range of local, regional and national clinical audit projects.
Whilst working in partnership with clinical teams and other key stakeholders, the Clinical Audit Facilitator will be fundamental in supporting effective clinical audit cycles and nurturing a clinical audit culture which supports the delivery of high quality and safe patient care across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have a keen drive for improvement and have experience of working in a healthcare or quality improvement setting. The ability to work to tight deadlines and good IT skills including analysing and interpreting data and national clinical audit reports are essential in this role.
The role may also involve delivering clinical audit training to support staff at all levels.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly and dynamic team supporting high quality clinical audit and service evaluation projects.

Main duties of the job
- To support designated Directorate and specialities in the development and implementation of their clinical audit plan and programme.
- To support staff and teams in the design, implementation, analysis and presentation of clinical audit results.
- To provide guidance on the development of action plans from clinical audit recommendations.
- To provide advice on the process of re-audit.
- To provide reports on clinical audit activity for their directorate and specialities, supporting relevant Speciality Clinical Audit Leads as required.
- To ensure that the Trust's regional and national requirements for clinical audit are considered by their directorates and specialties' when developing clinical audit programmes and that all clinical audits undertaken are ethically sound and data is collected in accordance with Information Governance requirements.
- To support the implementation of the Trust Clinical Audit Strategy and Clinical Audit Plan.
