Job summary

Come and join our friendly, motivated team on Eye Ward and Eye Day Surgery Unit . We care for inpatient, elective and emergency Ophthalmology patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is keen to develop their skills on Ophthalmology , with support from our experienced team. We provide a variety of learning experiences, such as in house Ophthalmology training and study days . We look forward to hearing from you soon and giving you an opportunity to follow a happy and rewarding carer!

Base Location: Bournemouth

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths and English
  • Willingness to undertake a qualification in care at level 2

Desirable

  • Care Certificate NVQ or equivalent at level 2 in health care
  • An understanding of the NHS environment

Experience

  • Experience of working with the public

  • Experience of hospital and/or ward work
  • Experience of working in a caring environment

Technical Skills Competencies

  • Basic computer skills
  • Shows an insight into personal care needs
  • Able to work using own initiative and as part of a team
