Job summary

We are seeking a motivated, driven and innovative registered nurse to work across the organisation to deliver quality learning environments, innovative student placements , and upskill Practice Supervisors and Assessors.

You will work collaboratively with the existing Learning Environment Facilitators across all three hospital sites, to meet the regional and national targets, and to maintain our reputation as a leading placement environment.

A key part of the role will be to implement and embed the Collaborative Learning in Practice (CLiP) Model of student supervision across the organisation, utilising coaching principles and feedforward techniques to expand and maintain placement capacity, whilst ensuring a quality learning journey.

You will be responsible for the co-delivery and quality assurance of the Supervising Learners in Practice course, reporting to our Education Providers and NHS England .

The successful applicant will also be working closely with the wider student team to embed the new NMC Standards for Education (2018) facilitating clinical skills and competency teaching activities including simulation, webinars, seminars and workshops.
