Job summary
We are looking for a Band 6 mammographer to join our Dorset Breast Screening Service.
The role will require you to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the effective delivery and operations of the Dorset Breast Screening Service.
The role requires you to undertake screening mammography to the high standard required by the NHS Breast Screening Service on mobile and static units that form the Dorset Breast Screening Unit (DBSU), to undertake specialised assessment mammography to the standard required by the service and deliver a high quality service for patients referred to the symptomatic breast service in the Ladybird Unit.
If training is required, the post will be offered at a Band 5 until completion of training and preceptorship.
