Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, passionate and enthusiastic research team as a Research Finance Assistant!

The R&D Department is involved in the set up, design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials and other clinical research studies, working in collaboration with patients, research teams,hospital departments, other NHS Trusts, commercial and academic partners.

The Research Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting the Research Management Quality Facilitator with efficient income recovery processes, reviewing data for accuracy prior to raising invoices and creating income distribution templates for commercial trials.

They are required to be organised and respond well to working as a member of a team. They will ensure that the processes for income recovery enable a high quality service to ensure the effective delivery of critical research support operations.This is a busy role, and the post holder is expected to have excellent communication skills, have a hands on approach, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
