Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a dynamic team.

Primarily the role will support the Council of Governors as part of the Company Secretariat Team and will play a key part in the development and implementation of the Trust's Membership Strategy.

This is a rare opportunity to join the Team at a crucial time.

We are looking for someone with a 'can do' attitude and can demonstrate the following skills:

  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage their own workload often with conflicting priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including writing reports and minutes
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and using databases
  • Dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Willingness to learn

This is a great development opportunity that will expose the successful person to the hub of the decision making in the organisation.

The role is accountable to the Deputy Company Secretary and key relationships will be with the Chief Executive, Chairman, Non-Executive Directors, Chief Officers, Associate Director of Corporate Governance and Governors.

Base Location: Poole Hospital (Cross site working will be required)
