Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Administration Team Leader to join our team.
The successful applicant will be required to provide efficient secretarial, administrative and management for the administrative team and at times to liaise with members of the public and a variety of professionals, both in primary and secondary care services.
Given the nature of this service, some patients may contact us in distress, and we are looking for resilient applicants, with a compassionate work ethos who can thrive with the right level of support being offered by the Administration Manager.
Excellent communication skills and a good level of IT literacy are essential.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the admin team, to provide efficient administrative and office service to Adult Psychology Service. To ensure patients and all contacts to the service are dealt with in a friendly, empathetic and professional manager and that the experience is positive.
You will deal with confidential, contentious and urgent material proactively in a sensitive and professional way liaising with the appropriate manager.
You will develop effective relationships with team members to enable productive and effective working across the team.
Use of E-procurement to purchase goods and services for the Adult Psychology Service, including financial spreadsheets and authorising payments within budget constraints.
