Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Nurse to work within our dynamic Poole West 0-19 Public Health Teams ( Health Visiting and School Nursing).
The role will involve working with children (0-11 years) and their families. The successful candidate will work within the Children and Young People Public Health Service (CYP PHS) to support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. Additionally providing targeted interventions and support to children and their families, as delegated by and under the supervision of the named Health Visitor or School Nurse, whilst working closely with all members of the 0-19 public health team.

Main duties of the job
To support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for children aged 0 to 11 and their families as delegated by and under the supervision of the named Health Visitor or School Nurse, whilst working closely with all members of the 0-19 Public Health team, and wider agencies.
For babies and children under 5 years duties include undertaking development reviews in a variety of community settings, supporting drop in clinics, health promotion and supporting families within a variety of areas such as sleep, feeding and behaviour, and the delivery of the 0-5 Parentline service.
For school aged children duties include promoting the health of the school aged population and their families through the delivery of school drop in clinics, Parentline 5-19 service, enuresis support and 'Request for Support' referrals.
