Sexual Health Service Receptionist

Job summary

Are you friendly, professional and organised? We are looking for a part time, proactive and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our service for our evening clinics. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a patient facing role and has a passion for providing exceptional service.

You will be working as part of the friendly and supportive admin team within the Sexual Health Service at Bournemouth. You will be provided with on the job training and support. Sexual Health is a free and inclusive specialist service empowering people to make informed decisions around their sexual wellbeing.

This is a part time post of 12 hours per week, working Monday 4pm - 8pm Wednesday 3pm -7pm Thursday 4pm - 8pm

Main duties of the job

Welcoming patients, visitors and team members with a positive can do attitude and helpful disposition..

Maintaining a tidy, professional and welcoming reception area.

Ensuring excellent accuracy of data input within our clinical system.

To provide comprehensive reception support to the sexual health service.

To support the Team Lead and Clinical Lead Nurse to ensure effective delivery of the sexual health service.

To be a point of contact for the sexual health team and external agencies.

To be the first point of contact for patients attending the service and deal with appropriately.
