Job summary

The newly Integrated Community Vaccination Service is looking for a team player and experienced Administration Assistant to help deliver theschool age vaccination programme alongside the Covid vaccination delivery to housebound patients and care homes.

Vaccinations are the safest and most effective way of protecting individuals and communities from vaccine preventable diseases. Working for the Community Vaccination Service allows for you to work as part of a team supporting and promoting the importance of vaccines who arepassionate to protect this age group and offering support to the Integrated Vaccination Service across the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administration Assistant to support the management of the Community Vaccination Service (CVS).The CVS team is part of the Integrated Vaccination Service and provides all school age children in Dorset their immunisations as per theUK Health Security Agency schedule, alongside this the service also provides Covid vaccines to the housebound and care home residents ofDorset. You will be supporting the management of a teamof nurses and administrators on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all clinics and sessions are staffed appropriately and safely. The role will be based

Main duties of the job

o Liaising with parents/school/service users/care homeso Adding patients onto caseloadso Sending lists of new referrals to other departmentso Making a referral to CHISo Checking duplicate registration forms and actioning appropriate forAmending Records for CHIS/SN as advised.Phones/Emails /General enquires and consent forms.Sending and editing communicationsDaily administration tasks as identified by the Administration lead.
