Warehouse Service/Repairs Assistant

Job summary

This is an essential role within the Wheelchair service to ensure that the department keeps flowing smoothly.

The role ensures that the flow of work can continue for all departments within the wheelchair service.

You will work with a small number of warehouse staff within a multi disaplined service that provide a responsive and effective service for our clients, supplying semi-skilled duties that are fully compliant with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

Working for the Wheelchair Service you will be part of a friendly team that supply Wheelchairs and support to clients over the whole county of Dorset with different complexities.

You will work flexibly alongside a multi-disaplined team of staff to support the provision of a reliable, prompt, high quality service for our proactive customer orientated business.

Main duties of the job

Working for the Wheelchair Service you will need good communication and relationship skills. An understanding of Health and Safety regulations and safe systems of work is required at all times.

Training will be available to ensure the correct procedures and policies are followed.

  • Good standard of general eduction or relevant experience
  • Able to demonstrate good general knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering either by holding an appropriate NVQ 2 or have the equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
