Job summary
Come and join our friendly and supportive Facilities team as a Removal and Specialist Clean Operative, based in Poole. You will require a clean, full UK Driver's License for this role.
You will be required to carry out specialist cleans in our wards and kitchen areas as well as our theatres; working in conjunction with site domestic staff and ensuring the maintaining of National Cleaning Standards. Training will be provided for any machinery used during these cleans.
As the Removal Support, you will be carrying out office moves, furniture removals/disposals and collecting medical devices from store and delivering them to services around Dorset when required.
This role is a full-time role, hours are 8am - 4pm with some flexibility required. There will be times you will be required to cover all Trust sites located across Dorset. Work vehicles are provided for work use only and will need to be returned daily to the relevant base.
This role will suit someone who enjoys variety in their daily workload, enjoys working as part of a team and able to work independently on occasions.
Communication is key to this role as the successful candidates will be interacting with a variety of staff and on occasions patients in the course of their work.

Main duties of the job
This Specialist Cleaner role would include a planned programme of 'deep cleans' of wards, kitchens, and theatres amongst other areas, transferring furniture from sites across the Trust as well as supporting sites with other cleaning duties including deep cleaning infected areas and regular cleaning duties for the site.
