Job summary

The Yeatman Hospital is looking to recruit a part time evening Domestic to join our dedicated and friendly teams.

The ideal candidate should be willing to carry out a wide and varied range of housekeeping and cleaning duties across the hospital site, although mainly on the wards to the high standard required in our community hospital, as outlined in the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021.They must be reliable, flexible, self-motivated and have an eye for detail. Being able to work either as a team member or on own initiative is crucial. Some experience in a previous role would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

This is a part-time role 16 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

Main duties include , checking and cleaning bathrooms and toilets ready for the night

Washing up the supper dishes and cleaning the kitchen

Cleaning Minor Injuries or the dental surgery

Cleaning corridors, staircases, changing rooms

Using floor scrubber
