Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a friendly and proficient administration team, supporting clinicians who deliver Children & Young People's Health Visiting Service.

We are looking for someone with good IT skills, strong time management, great interpersonal & communication skills.

You will be a pivotal point of contact for people accessing the service and as such you will need to have a friendly approach & be able to build effective working relationships between yourself, colleagues & the wider service users

It is an interesting and varied role and we'd like to find someone with good humour who enjoys the challenge of a busy working environment. Daily tasks will involve communicating with service users, signposting, using excel, capturing data, managing emails and assisting clinicians with general admin.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

Main duties of the job

Day to day duties will include providing a professional and courteous response to service users and practitioners who contact us via email or telephone.

You will be booking appointments for practitioners and updating our central clinical system appointment diary (SystmOne) and ensuring messages are passed on to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.

Working from Excel spreadsheets.

Adding sickness to eroster

Preparing agendas and taking minutes at meetings with some occasional travel.

Assisting Clinical Leads with letters and HR matters.

Running monthly reports, ensuring our internal data is correct enabling us to meet our KPI's.
