Job summary

The newly integrated Community Vaccination Service is looking for a team player and experienced HCSW to deliver the school age vaccination

programme alongside the Covid vaccination delivery to housebound patients and care homes, also assisting the admin lead with delegated tasks.

Vaccinations are the safest and most effective way of protecting individuals and communities from vaccine preventable diseases. Working for the

Community Vaccination Service allows for you to work as part of a team supporting and promoting the importance of vaccines who are

passionate to protect this age group and offering support to the Integrated Vaccination Service across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Administering selected vaccines in schools, at community clinics, in care homes and in patient homes.

Collecting vaccines and equipment from vaccine bases.

Health promotion/Vaccine education

Community engagement.

Delegated administration tasks as identified by the admin lead. Such as running reports, liaising with schools/service users, data collection.
