Job summary
Are you seeking an administration role supporting a range of services giving you a great opportunity to learn more about NHS community services?
In this admin role you will support the Head of Specialist services and other service managers to ensure the efficient operation of our services which include MSK/Physiotherapy, Vaccination services, Audiology/ENT and many more.
You will support the Head of Service along with 2-3 other service managers.
The Specialist Services portfolio comprises of over 20 different out - patient and community based NHS services in Dorset.
Main duties of the job
To support the diary management of specialist services managers, booking meetings, arranging room booking, responding to meeting request. Coordinate team meetings including developing agendas, keeping minutes and actions trackers, following up actions in a timely manner. You would need well developed IT skills and want to seek new ways to help us run our services and meetings efficiently. in addition you would need to manage the ordering of goods, receipting of items and accurate coding of invoices, requiring attention to detail.
Diary management, meeting management most of which are via MS teams. Organising agendas, formatting papers, keeping minutes and action trackers. Supporting managers with recruitment. Arranging team event days/education days including room booking, venue set up, and helping managers with presentation materials. As you learn more about our services, there will be opportunities to develop your skills with seeking out, analysing and presenting data .
