Job summary

We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual with very good administrative skills to join our existing team.

You will need to multi-task and work flexibly to help manage the workload of our busy CMHT with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel plus NHS systems.

You will need to have an excellent telephone manner, be able to work under pressure, have strong communication skills and have good attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

To provide effective and efficient secretarial support for a medical professional(s) and wider CMHT team.

To provide reception cover.

To work as part of the CMHT / Admin teams using a high level of communication skills both verbal and written to ensure all demands are met, displaying the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks.

Confidently manage a range of confidential manual and computerised systems.

To work flexibility with other members of the admin team to ensure reception area is manned at all times.

To support the CMHT Team Leader, Admin Team Leader and Integrated Service Manager in aspects of service provision as and when required.

To adhere to Trust standards and processes regarding all aspects of role.

  • RSA Level 2 or equivalent level of IT skill
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of knowledge of office procedures

  • Knowledge of RiO, NHS systems
