Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to embark on an Administration Apprenticeship (Level 3) within SAFE - Security and Fraud Experts at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.

SAFE - Security and Fraud Experts are an independent, not for profit organisation that delivers high quality, value for money specialist services including:security management,counter fraudanda raft of training. We protect in excess of 30,000 employees and over 1,000 sites from the threat ofphysicalandfinancial abuse.

The successful candidate will receive training and work towards formal qualifications whilst developing professional skills to provide a support service to the team.

This post will involve working from Yeatman Hospital (Sherborne), Sentinel House (Poole) and some remote working.

As part of this role, you will be required to drive and have access to a car.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be aged 18 or over. Some of the topics you will come across are not suitable for those below 18.

This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

Main duties of the job

Your role within the team would be to support the Office and Compliance Manager with the day-to-day smooth running of the office and coordinating all administrative support duties for the SAFE team. Gathering and Collating information and providing detailed reports within agreed timescales. You will also provide support with the variety of web-based and social media platforms.

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust will provide: A dedicated mentor to support you through your apprenticeship, providing support and advice within the workplace, as well as helping you manage the balance of work and apprenticeship studies.

You will have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally and will be encouraged to attend our in-house training courses and shadow colleagues from other services. There may be further opportunities depending on your interests and strengths.
