Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an occupational therapist to join the therapies team at St. Ann's hospital.

The therapies team covers the 6 acute wards at St. Ann's.

The team provide a dedicated occupational therapist to each ward and a service from physiotherapy and exercise instruction.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work alongside the OTs already in post on the male treatment ward and acute admissions unit adding extra value through the delivery of a dedicated OT role working with men as they move between the 2 units.

The post holder will have a supervisory role supporting the rotation B5 OT's as they complete their 6 months rotations on Harbour ward.

They will work closely with the OTs on both wards in the delivery of a sensory friendly, trauma informed service evidence based occupational therapy service.
