Job summary
Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is a large community and mental health trust providing services across the whole of Dorset. This includes specialist learning disability services, community dental services, community hospitals and prison healthcare across Dorset.
The Learning Disability Service in Dorset is staffed by a passionate and dedicated team and is looking for an experienced practitioner to join us. This is an excellent opportunity to lead practice within the challenging yet rewarding field of learning disability practice.
The following fixed term vacancy has arisen:
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole

Senior Clinical Lead
Band 8a
15 hrs per week
The vacancy has a fixed term of March 2023 until March 2025.
The post holder will work alongside the existing Senior Clinical lead and be responsible for the day-to-day operational management and clinical leadership within an Integrated LD service with an Integrated team manager.
You will be required to provide specialist clinical advice and support to meet the needs of people with learning disabilities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has demonstrable experience in working within the learning disability field.
You must also have experience in operational management at Band 7 or above. You must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The role will be 2 days of 9-5 duties and the days are yet to be determined.
