Job summary

We are seeking to recruit a customer service apprentice to work within our busy Audiology Department in Weymouth, Dorset. This post is for 37.5 hours per week.

The main function of the Dorset Audiology Service is to provide NHS hearing aid services throughout Dorset.Our friendly administration team support our audiologists and we would welcome an enthusiastic person to join our expanding team based in a new diagnostic centre in Weymouth.

As a customer service apprentice, you will be well-motivated, flexible and a clear communicator.

This post is a full-time weekday post.

Main duties of the job

To work as part of a team to provide quality and efficient audiology reception service.

Tasks will include -

  • Reception duties.
  • Arranging patient appointments.
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries.
  • To assist and direct visitors as required.
  • Ordering and issuing of hearing aid accessories.
  • Ordering stationery.
  • Supporting admin and clinical team members.
