An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy team working for Dorset HealthCare University NHS Trust based at Bridport Community Hospital. As a key member of the team you will find the experience challenging, rewarding and varied.
At work - you would be joining our team working in a clean and modern environment in our friendly Community Hospital at Bridport. The Outpatient Physio team have strong links to the local community in the area, linking with local leisure services and community groups. Within Dorset HealthCare Trust, we work closely with the MSK Orthopaedic Interface service (known as Dorset MSK) and our local hospitals. Through these links, we can further your experience to expand your knowledge and skills and provide career development opportunities.

Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities will be:
To work autonomously to provide skilled assessment and treatment/management for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including those with complex needs. Referrals are received from GP, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, MIU/A+E, self referral and other NHS colleagues. When appropriate onward referral to other services may be required.
To support the development of students and other colleagues . This will include being a student educator and being involved in In-house training.
To assist the Team Lead in the management of the Physiotherapy Service i.e triage, service development.
