Our People and Culture Directorate at Dorset Healthcare are looking for you take a lead role in taking forward the People Plan strategic objectives.

As the Projects and Business Manager you will work closely with the Interim Joint Chief People Officer and the Service Directors and senior leadership teams for across the Trust supporting and tracking strategic deliverables and moving key programmes of work forward. Have a passion for supporting and developing our people you will play an instrumental role in the overall success of our workforce strategy whilst working alongside a compassionate, accomplished, and supportive team.

You will be highly organised and proactive with strong project management, report writing and communication skills. You'll also be able to quickly collate, understand and present complex workforce data and information to support and monitor projects as well as inform Board reports. You will also have the confidence, initiative and capability to work with key partners, multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across the Trust to ensure the delivery of work streams, deadlines, outcomes and measures of success.

Main duties of the job

Support for the Directorate in monitoring the development and delivery of multiple work streams set up to deliver the Trust's workforce strategy and People Plan.

Through effective programme support, using appropriate tools and methodologies, ensure projects are on track and liaise with project leads for updates and progress reports.

To project manage task and finish groups as required to progress strategic workforce initiatives.

Support with the monitoring and development of KPIs for each project.

Support service areas with the Trust wide transformation programme.

Support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to deliver cross-Directorate projects, programmes, correspondence, information requests and similar tasks, enabling the smooth running of directorate business.
