Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant (Cleaner) to support our services at the friendly and caring Community Mental Health Unit along with carrying out duties at Westhaven Hospital.

This is a 20 hour per week post working Monday to Friday.

Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of a Domestic Assistant includes daily cleaning of Consulting Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Offices, Toilets, Corridors and Wards.

You will be required to use a range of cleaning equipment and be expected to work independently throughout your duties to maintain the high cleaning standards that are expected within the Units.
