Job summary

We are currently transitioning from the Serious Incident Framework to the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and implementing Learning from Patient Safety Events (LFPSE).

This post is for 28 hours and the successful applicant will Job Share with the current Patient Safety Incident and Safety Alerts Administrator. Together you will be part of the Administration Team within the Quality, Experience and Safety Team (QUEST).

Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook, along with excellent communication skills are essential to this role.

The post holder will carry out administration duties in relation to Patient Safety Incident Investigations/Patient Safety Reviews and reporting on STEIS. The role will also involve administration of Patient Safety Alerts.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

Main duties of the job

Organising and attending meetings

Note taking

Managing and updating spreadsheets

Communication with operational teams, senior leaders, ect

Reporting events on STEIS

Formatting reports

Use of local systems including Eroster, Ulysses
