ABIRS Team Administrator Band 3
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised Team Administrator to join the Dorset Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (ABIRS). This post is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based in Poole. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills and they will be able to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
ABIRS is a team of highly experienced staff who provide specialist rehabilitation for patients with complex difficulties following an acquired brain injury. Rehabilitation is provided across Dorset through face to face and virtual clinic appointments, group programmes, and face to face home visits.
Main duties of the job
As a Team Administrator, you will be responsible for providing reliable and efficient office support to the ABIRS Team.
It is essential that you have previous office experience and are proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel spreadsheets. Responsibilities include management of telephone calls and queries from patients, carers, other professionals and services, processing referrals, inputting information onto the electronic patient record (currently RiO, but moving to SystmOne), taking minutes of meetings, formatting letters, processing orders and providing general administrative support to the team
The successful candidate will:

Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Have the ability to multi-task
Identify and prioritise workload
Work to tight deadlines
Solve problems, use initiative and work efficiently
Provide a 'here to help' approach whilst promoting a 'can do' attitude'.
Work without direct supervision.
Enjoy working with people and quickly building rapport
Previous experience of working in an NHS setting will be an advantage but is not essential.
