Our Organisational Development Team are looking for an Organisational Development Practitioner to join their passionate team.
The Organisational Development Practitioner will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our refreshed Workforce Strategy, through our key OD workforce deliverables. You will proactively lead aspects of the OD agenda, supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of a wide range of organisational development solutions and interventions that deliver sustainable improvements in individual, team and organisational performance.
You will help design and deliver professional and quality development interventions that inspires and engages our teams to deliver the Trust's ambitions. Prioritise through high performing teams that encourages a culture of openness, inclusion and belonging.
In turn you will be working with a team who work with integrity, care about the staff experience and quality of care that's provided to ultimately ensure that the patients receive the care and treatment they need.
The Organisational Development Practitioner role is a full-time post where hours can be worked flexibly. This role also offers the great opportunity to work in a hybrid approach with a mix of working from home, office based at Sentinel House in Poole and to cover Trust wide.
Main duties of the job
Support the implementation of OD strategies and any associated action plans in accordance with the agreed priorities of the team.
Provide specialist advice to and frequently work with Directorate/Team managers to ensure a consistent approach is implemented for specific OD projects/initiatives
Develop the capacity and capability of managers, and the organisation, to identify their OD needs and to understand and implement OD approaches and tools in order to lead and develop high performing and highly engaged teams
Communicate with and influence senior clinicians, managers and other key staff to secure their commitment to and involvement with specific OD projects/initiatives
Deliver key components of the organisation's Workforce Strategy including the OD Workforce Deliverables.
Prepare and present reports to senior groups that demonstrate impact and return on investment of OD activity in relation to the Workforce Strategy.
Take the lead on OD related projects to our workforce deliverables, working with Trust wide groups, facilitators and champions to deliver organisational projects.
Support the development and implementation of Trust wide plans which relate to the wider People and Culture, OD and workforce deliverables.
Work collaboratively with all members of the People and Culture Directorate and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
