As a Public Health Staff Nurse (School Nursing), you will participate in the School Nursing core programme, as underpinned by the Healthy Child Programme and will work in partnership with children, young people and families, the Local Authority, Early Intervention Services, Children's Services, Schools and other Health Care providers. You will be required to work closely with neighbouring School Nursing teams pan Dorset, to provide services in response to identified needs, including supporting the delivery of ParentLine 5-19
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse (School Nursing) to join our forward-thinking Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole School Nursing teams. This post is a fixed term contract up to 27 September 2024, 22.5 hours per week, year-round. The hours are 0830 - 1630 (and no weekend working). The successful candidate will be based at Pelhams Clinic in Bournemouth
