Job summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Specialist Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team here in Shaftesbury.

Located at Westminster Memorial Hospital this will be a busy and varied rolewhich would suit an experienced Band 6 wanting further career development, or an existing Band 7 Occupational Therapist.

You will be expected to hold a complex clinical caseload of both ward and community patients.

You will be confident with your clinical skills and your manual handling and be able to teach and supervise other colleagues.

Main duties of the job

As a Specialist Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist within the ICRT Therapy Team you will be a source of expertise on the management of ICRT patients' conditions.

You will work closely with the existing Band 7 Team Leader to deliver high quality care for a varied caseload of adults in all community settings. You will also be working closely with a wide MDT to ensure your patients receive the best possible treatment.

You will be highly experienced in treating and managing patients in all community settings and passionate about the supervision, training and education of others.
