We are looking for a Clinical Fellow in Plastics based at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust to join our busy department.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic clinician to join our Plastic Surgery team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. This role offers a diverse and rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care across a range of clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
Main duties of the job
The role involves the assessment, care, and treatment of patients referred to the specialty, participation in outpatient clinics and theatre sessions, and attendance at weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. You will work closely with clinical teams to develop integrated surgical and emergency care pathways, participate in audit and quality assurance activities, and contribute to teaching and training of medical and support staff, including trainees and students.
The post includes participation in the emergency plastic surgery on-call rota (non-resident), with the expectation to remain within 30 minutes of the hospital. You will maintain professional development through continuous education, appraisals, and research or audit projects, while supporting the wider objectives of the Trust and ensuring high standards of patient care.
