Job summary
Are you a passionate and skilled physiotherapist ready to specialise in paediatrics? We're looking for a dynamic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.
? About the RoleThis is a non-rotational post offering the opportunity to work autonomously with a varied and often complex paediatric caseload. You'll assess, treat, and manage children with a wide range of conditions, using evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality care. You'll also contribute to MDT clinics, service development, and departmental CPD activities.
Main duties of the job
? What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering physiotherapy assessments and treatments for paediatric patients.
- Creating tailored treatment plans using sound clinical reasoning.
- Collaborating with consultants, GPs, and acute/primary care providers.
- Participating in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supporting and educating MDT colleagues and students.
- Managing your own caseload and contributing to service planning.
You'll be a confident communicator, able to liaise effectively across disciplines and with families. You'll attend case conferences, write clinic letters, and ensure seamless onward referrals. Compassion and clarity are key--especially when delivering sensitive information.
