Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Urology Registrar / Specialist Clinical Fellow (ST3-ST5 equivalent) to join our dynamic Urology team at Wexham Park Hospital, part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. This role is ideal for doctors who have completed core surgical training and are looking to gain further experience in a busy and well-supported urology department.
The post offers excellent exposure to both elective and emergency urology, including opportunities to assist and perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will work closely with a team of consultants, junior doctors, specialist nurses, and multi-disciplinary colleagues, contributing to high standards of patient care and service delivery.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient and outpatient care under the supervision of Consultant Urologists.

Participate in elective theatre lists, diagnostic procedures (e.g. flexible cystoscopy), and emergency urology on-call rota.

Contribute to ward rounds, MDT meetings, and outpatient clinics.

Support junior colleagues in their training and clinical development.

Participate in audit, teaching, clinical governance, and service improvement initiatives.

Engage in personal development activities and training to progress towards higher specialty training or CESR pathways, if appropriate.
