Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist to join our dynamic reception team within the Ophthalmology Department at Frimley Park Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and is committed to delivering exceptional administrative support.
As a key point of contact for both clinical staff and patients, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our reception area. You will handle a range of responsibilities, including managing telephone enquiries, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, well-organised, and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal and time management skills. The ability to remain professional and composed under pressure is essential.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working on the front line Ophthalmology Reception in the Eye Treatment Centre at Frimley Park Hospital.
This will involve direct contact with patients, booking follow up appointments and front line admin support.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the provision of a seamless service to patients and staff. The post holder will provide a high quality service to all customers both internal and external to the Trust ensuring reception support in the outpatient area is efficient, with all patients and visitors greeted in a friendly and polite manner.
