Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Doctor as a Specialist Clinical Fellow ( ST3+) in Acute Medicine at Frimley Park Hospital.
We are looking for a proactive and passionate individual to work with a fantastic team ofdoctors, advanced nurse practitioners, nurses and medical technical assistants. We haveregular medical students, physician assistant students and clinical observers on our unit.Our trainees come from the KSS Deanery with 2 Acute Internal Medicine registrarsalready in place, as well as Internal Medicine and ACCS Trainees within the department.
Each post rotates between the ambulatory care (SDEC) unit and the main AMU inpatient ward. There is regular teaching within the unit and a wealth of specialty experience in the 11 consultants that support the unit.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing,and managing a wide range of acute medical conditions while ensuring efficient patientflow and excellent clinical outcomes. You will be encouraged to grow as a clinician andparticipate in governance including mortality reviews, QIPs, departmental & trust-wideeducational activities. You will have the opportunity to teach the medical and physicianassistant students within the department & present on the departmental peer led teachingprogram.
