Upper GI Oncology Specialist dietitian

Job summary

Frimley Health Foundation Trust has an exciting vacancy for a fixed term Band 7 Upper GI Oncology Specialist dietitian. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, active team player with good communication skills to join our acute Dietetic team on a fixed term contract, ending at end of March 2026.

This role will lead on the development and day to day running of the UGI Oncology dietetic services within Frimley Health Foundation Trust.It will include team leader responsibilities within the department and direct line management. You will contribute to the development of the service, manage and understand specialist data, ensure clinical guidelines are up-to-date and implemented, lead on audit and quality improvement ensuring that the team's work contributes towards best care approach and in turn the Frimley Health Foundation Trust strategy.

Main duties of the job

  • This role will lead on the development and day to day running of the UGI Oncology dietetic services within Frimley Health Foundation Trust and
  • Provide advanced assessment and treatment of UGI oncology patients within the in and outpatient setting at Wexham Park Hospital.
  • This role will be an expert resource within the department and oncology, be responsible for the UGI oncology dietetic services at Wexham Park Hospital and support the UGI dietetic service pathway cross-site.

  • HCPC registration
