Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Wexham Orthopaedic therapy team as a static Band 5 Physiotherapist. This is post is fixed for 9 months to cover maternity leave.
The physiotherapist will work within our established team and receive regular support, supervision and training.
Main duties of the job
- To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating patients who may have a complex presentation
- To supervise and teach technicians/assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff
- To participate in CPD and other departmental activities
- To work across day surgery, inpatient and day surgery units
- To work flexibly across an extended seven day service, covering 08:00 - 16:00 including 1 in 4 weekends (Either Saturday or Sunday)
