We are looking to appoint a Business Support Accountant role permanently into the team.
This integral post will be supporting Theatres, Critical Care & Anaesthetics and General Surgery directorates.
Main duties of the job
This is a great opportunity to use your financial experience and knowledge to work at a more senior level and continue to provide high quality financial support to the Trust, and lead on the Finance Support for multi-directorates.

Providing a full financial support service from Month End Accounting, Budgeting, Costing, Forecasting, CIPs, and providing finance data for decision making.

- CCAB Finalist
- Presentation Skills
- Analyse complex facts and situations
- Experience in a financial management setting including 2 years experience in a large Organisation
- Experience of managing a month-end close and leading on directorate budget setting
- Strong IT skills, incorporating the input of financial data, creation and manipulation of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Staff Line Management Experience
Desirable
- CCAB qualified -equivalent to a Masters degree
- Evidence of leadership experience and/or potential
- Knowledge of Reference Costs and the NHS payment system
- Understanding of the NHS financial framework
- Knowledge of e-financials financial system and ESR payroll system
- Experienced in developing and delivering formal, complex business cases to non-finance managers and directors
