Job summary
To be third line Telecoms System Specialist, dealing with faults / repairs / new installations across all Frimley Health Sites.
Main duties of the job
- To analyse, investigate and resolve complicated queries, problems and users requirements of the telephone systems infrastructure.
- Maintain Continual Service Improvement for the telephone system infrastructure to maximise the benefits of modern telecommunications whilst assuring high availability.
- To configure both the hardware and software of the communication systems infrastructure equipment and end user devices ensuring appropriate access control and management of the secure gateways to the NHS network, the Internet and to the private and public telephone networks.
- To input and manipulate data to, and create reports from, various telephone system analysis tools and database systems including Tiger Telephone Call Logger, Netcall and Vodafone supplier online reporting tools.
- To provide specialist advice, of the Trust wide Telecommunications security policies, ensuring safe and appropriate use of telephone resources.
- Work with Estates and Capital Projects to interface critical building alarms (BMS), Fire Alarms and intruder alarms with the BlueSky Command software.
- Undertake mobile network surveys in conjunction with mobile network provider.

- AirWave Radios
- BlueSky Digital Emergency Bleeps
- Stanley Analogue Bleeps
- Motorola Network Radios
- 3rd Line Support to Mobile Devices
