Job summary

This an excellent opportunity for a Nurse or ODP with scrub experience to join our grown Theatre General Team. Due to moving to a longer working operating day (0730-1930) we have increased our theatre scrub teams with the help of Student and International Nurse recruitment drives, and we now require an additional Team Leader to effectively manage the team. Main duties of the job

As the Band 7 Team Leader for the General Surgery Team, you will expected to have strong scrub practitioner knowledge, and leadership qualities to lead a team professionally and develop their skills further. You will be required to ensure that the practices and behaviours of staff meet our trust values, Theatre Standard Operating Procedures, as well maintaining high standards of quality care. If you are passionate about leading & teaching others, staff wellbeing and experience, providing high standards of care to our patients, patient safety, and making changes then we would like to hear from you.

  • Educated to Degree level in healthcare or equivalent experience
  • Mentorship qualification or equivalent
