Job summary
An exciting opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic, competent and ambitious RMS Support Worker to join the busy Cancer Services Administration team at the Frimley Health Trust.
The successful applicant will require strong social skills to build good working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams across the Trust.
You will be able to cope well under pressure.
You should enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team and be confident liaising with patients, general practitioners and referring hospitals.
This role is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious person who wants to build the skills and the knowledge to progress their career towards supervisory, management and leadership roles.

Main duties of the job
PURPOSE OF JOB:
- This role will be guided and supervised by the Macmillan Information & Support Officer in collaboration with the Site Specific Cancer leads namely Haematology & Gynaecology and other relevant tumour sites.
- The post holder will coordinate the care and support given to people to navigate the complex health and social care system during and following completion of cancer treatment when they enter the Supported Self-management programme / Patient Initiated Follow Up pathway (SSMP/PIFU).
