Job summary
This is a full-time 10PA substantive consultant neurology post based at Wexham Park Hospital (part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust) and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (part of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust).
The consultant will have the opportunity to be on-call approximately one in 20 for neurology at NHNN (This is paid as an intensity supplement)
A general neurology clinic template is NEW 40 minutes, FUP 20 minutes
Main duties of the job
The postholder will have continuing responsibility for the care of patients in his/her charge and for the proper functioning of the department with inpatient and outpatient commitments. They will undertake a share of the administrative duties associated with the care patients, the running of the neurology department and the directorate.
An interest in Parkinson's, Epilepsy and Neuromuscular services would be desirable but not essential, as candidates with interests that complement the current four neurologists will be considered.
