Job summary

Wexham Park hospital is looking to recruit a Senior Housekeeping supervisor.

As a Senior Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work within the housekeeping services department, managing a very large team including supervisors and assistant housekeepers to ensure that cleaning is delivered to the Trust required standard.

Main duties of the job

To provide support and deputise to the Assistant Hotel Services Manager with co-ordination of the day-to-day operations and supervision of the Hotel Services. An extremely positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential. A commitment to delivering a high level of cleaning standards together with the Ability to work on your own or as part of a team. A good level of competency in IT

You will monitor cleaning standards, ensuring adherence to infection control policies and procedures as well as health and safety polices. You will also be responsible for conducting mandatory training.

Cleaning Management experience is an essential element for this role and experience within a healthcare environment would be beneficial.

The post is 37.5 hours, working across shifts. Also weekends as cover when required to cover sick and absence.
