Job summary
We are looking to expand our cross sectional team due to a new MRI install and have vacancies for experienced and highly skilled Radiographers to join our friendly and forward-thinking Radiology team at our Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Radiographer with proven team leading skills to deepen their cross-sectional knowledge, leadership skills and develop their career.
We have a new Heatherwood Hospital recently opened in Ascot in April 2022 which will houses a new Radiology department including a new Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Sola and a GE CT Revolution in the cross-sectional suite.
Post will require ability to work extended working days, nights and weekends to mitigate demand. There is an on-call service in MRI at Wexham Park from 19.30-22.00 hrs daily
Main duties of the job
- Senior Radiographer post working within the CT/ MRI departments across both our Heatherwood and Wexham sites
- Provide a high quality of cross sectional imaging for both routine and complex examinations
- To support the CT or MRI Modality Lead Radiographer
- Ensure the equipment is used in a safe and correct manner
- Commitment to working over a 7 day shift system
