An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare professional to take on this strategic placement lead role within the Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care system.

Main duties of the job
The Strategic placement Lead will ensure effective delivery of student placements across the system and assurance that learners complete placements that enable them to practice safely, effectively and with confidence and compassion.
The post holder will work closely with other members of the clinical education team and the wider organisation to ensure the provision of an excellent education service.

DIMENSIONS OF JOB:
The post-holder will create, develop and lead on strategic provision of clinical placements across the ICS in order to improve quality, capacity and financial efficiency.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To lead the scoping, design, development, and implementation of a new process for the coordination, management, support and assessment of all non-medical undergraduate students across the Frimley Health & Care System.
The job has 5 key elements:
Engagement of all key stakeholders, specifically ICS Executives, System Directors of Education and Directors of Nursing, Finance Directors and their staff, Placement leads, HEIs and Students
Robust assessment and analysis of the current processes including a full review of all monetary income and expenditure within the ICS on non-medical undergraduate student training
Thorough understanding of the multiple income and expenditure streams of all non-medical undergraduate training within the ICS.
Innovation, design and development of a new process that improves the student experience, increases placement capacity, improves uptake and provides financial savings that can be reinvested into student training.
Leading and communicating the implementation of the new system across all the ICS partners.
To lead on the optimisation of placement capacity and efficiency across the ICS for all non-medical undergraduate students in line with NHS workforce growth requirements.
To collect and analyse data in relation to quality, impact and value of the project and provide real time feedback both locally within the system and nationally.
