Job summary

You will be part of the EPR training team who will be delivering training of our new Epic EPR clinical system to every member of staff needing access to the system across the Trust.

You will be responsible for delivering training on one application within the Epic system and will be teaching classes of around 9-15 people over a 7-9 week period.

Prior to delivering the training, You will be helping to develop and update training materials in line with recommended adjustments from Subject Matter Experts in the Trust or from the build team. You will provide support during Go-Live and work with super users to ensure end users are confident using the system.

Participate in out of hours work e.g. weekends, evenings as and when required. In particular, during the training period and around go-live

Main duties of the job

  • Attending and passing the Credentialing Program.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Epic application(s) as implemented at NHS Frimley Health Foundation Trust
  • Conduct clinical software training classes for the Frimley Health community of workforce members as assigned based on credentialing competency.
  • Work with the Principal trainers to prepare approved materials while meeting project timelines.
  • Recommend adjustments and updates to learning materials and curriculum as needed.
  • Administer competency tests.
  • Assist with creating course materials and documents such as handouts, manuals, eLearning and other educational colleterial. While updating existing content and supporting the creation of a trust wide learning library which can be accessed by all trust employees
  • Maintain training records in the EPR learning management system
  • Provide status reports and updates in a timely manner throughout the project.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Epic EPR programme
